CHILLY WEAR - FABRICS
CANADIAN FLEECE

Produced in Quebec, Canada. This fleece has an excellent warmth to weight ratio. They have good moisture transmission and a great comfort factor. Washability is excellent and colour fastness extremely high. Only 12oz./200 Canadian Fleece fabric is used in Chilly Dogs™ Great White North™ winter coat.


MICRO FIBER CANADIAN FLEECE

This fleece is made of the highest quality denier yarn. These yarns contain a high ratio of filaments per strand creating a luxurious soft hand. The velour finish will ensure excellent washability and abrasion resistance. This micro fleece fiber has excellent weight to warmth ratio and superior moisture transmission properties. Only 100 weight micro fleece fabric is used in Chilly Dogs™ Rain Slicker™ coats.
VELCRO ® NYLON FASTENER

The Velcro ® brand nylon fastener is a two-part coupling system: one element consisting of rows of hooks, the other a mass of loops. When these two elements are pressed together they form a highly secure closure, yet can be easily reopened with a simple peeling action. What makes the Velcro ® closure unique is that it has infinite adjustability, is completely jam-proof and is highly durable. Only Velcro ® brand nylon fasteners are used on Chilly Dogs™ Rain Slicker™ coats.

POLYPROPYLENE WEBBING

This durable and super strong webbing is used in conjunction with our Stealth™ Side Squeeze Buckle to fasten the coat securely on your dog. For sizes 12" to 18" we use ¾" wide webbing strap and on all other sizes we use 1" wide webbing strap. All webbing is black.


STEALTH™ SIDE SQUEEZE BUCKLE

The Stealth™ buckle offers a hefty finger release area and uses the Virtual Locking™ system. This strong black buckle is used in conjunction with nylon webbing to allow for a perfect fit around the dogs’ waist. We use only the Stealth buckle for our Great White North™ winter coats Chilly Sweaters™ and the Soaker™.

DURABLE 200 DENIER NYLON

This 100% 200 Denier nylon fabric is wind and water proof. This Outershell material is quick drying, lightweight and abrasion resistant. It is soft to the touch but very strong. A great outershell material for dog apparel.


3M SCOTCHLITE™ REFLECTIVE MATERIAL

Scotchlite™ reflective material consists of thousands of tiny lenses that reflect light, entering either directly or at angles, back to its source. At night it is 1,500 times brighter than white cloth, making your dog transform into a bold, bright beacon that catches a driver's attention.
